about

This is a three song mini CD featuring the drumming talents of Rat Scabies, former longtime drummer of the Damned, one of the world's first and foremost punk bands. Featuring the title track in both a tame as well as a distorted grunge version, in addition to "Sense Of Tumour", a light sax driven piece featuring Adrian Gormley. Features some of our usual crew including Joseph B. Raimond, Ralf Lexis and a welcome return of Bernard H. Worrick, who offers a previously unpublished written work. To top it all of, a special packaging featuring, well, real bees in the CD version!

released July 23, 2016

On this recording, DWM featuring Rat Scabies were:

Rat Scabies - drums
Adrian Gormley - sax
Ralf Lexis - sampling, synthesiser, guitar
Joseph B. Raimond - guitar, bass, synthesiser
Bernard H. Worrick - inspiration, words

All cover art by Joseph B. Raimond, from the "Daily Plop" series, 2007 to 2010.

Please note: no bees were killed in the making of this release. All dead bees found as part of the packaging of this CD died of natural causes, and were collected and suipplied to DWM by our friends at the Dungl honey farm in Germany.

Special thanks to Ingeborg Dungl.

Dedicated to Paul Kantner and Signe Toly Anderson.

This is DWM release number 140

As always, in loving memory of Frank Abendroth
