Released on February 29th, 2024, a leap year, this album is also sort of a leap for DWM (bad pun, we know!), for it is their first album recorded using computer software instead of their trusted digital 8-track recorder. Although recording software can be a useful tool, DWM will continue to mainly use their 8-track, mostly due to the ease of mixing and mastering with knobs and sliders. Musically, this one is a very abstract release, with lots of found sounds swirling in and out of the mix, the recording running through various effects to give it a very atmospheric feeling. A particular highlight is the musical return of Michael Asch, who after more than two decades has resumed working with DWM. Also features Joseph B. Raimond, Michael Wurzer, Steran Schweiger, Adrian Gormley, Ralf Lexis, Joi as well as mystery guest L'Angelo Mysteriosox3. All cover art by Adrian Gormley and Joseph B. Raimond, which was also featured in the corresponding "Pointless" exhibition opened March 3rd, 2024 at the cultural center of the University Hospital at the Leipzig University.
